McArthur's Bakery provides the cake for the St Louis Art Museum's expansion groundbreaking ceremony!

January 19,2010  McArthur's Bakery is proud to have been the bakery chosen to design a cake to replicate the new expansion of the St. Louis Art Museum. The cake was six feet long and almost four feet wide. The cake was delivered on January 19, just prior to the museum's press conference where details of the 130 million dollar expansion were shared prior to the official groundbreaking ceremony that included Mayor Slay and County Executive Dooley as well as other elected and museum officials. The Knot Best of Weddings 2008 Pick. St. Louis Brides Love McArthur's!

McArthur's Bakery is pleased to announce it has been selected as a 2009 Pick for The Knot Best of Weddings magazine, a coast-to-coast, by-brides-for-brides guide to the top wedding sites, photographers, florists, and more in over 40 key cities across the United States published by The Knot Inc. (www.theknot.com), the #1 wedding website and most trusted wedding resource.

The Knot conducted its third annual survey of over 20,000 recent brides to capture detailed feedback on every business that couples hired for their wedding celebration.

St. Louis metro area newlyweds contributed their raves and reviews on the areas wedding professionals. The newlyweds were asked to rate their vendors on multiple criteria, from creativity to professionalism, and to comment on their experiences. The resulting ratingsand detailed feedbackwere aggregated by the editors of The Knot to create this one-of-a-kind publication highlighting the best wedding resources in each region according to local brides. The survey was administered by Harris Interactive.
